What would you do?

I walked into the bank today to deposit my check and noticed a long line (about four people in front of me) for only one teller, but then Immediatley noticed a little bit of commotion at the front counter and wondered what was going on for one second but then put it together and assumed a girl had fainted and then realized that it had just happened about ONE SECOND ago, as I was walking in.  I looked around the people, and saw the lady at the counter kneeling down and her daughter sitting/in the process of laying down.

The nice man behind her in line knelt down and held the girl up right so the mom could finish doing her transaction at the counter.  We were all very curious and worried.  I heard the girl (about 12 or 13 years old) ask, "what happened?" the mom said, "I don't know honey."  The nice man kept holding the girl sit up while the mom got all her things together.  While this was happening the girl behind me had watched it happened (she was standing at the island desk filling out her paper when I walked in), and said, "I don't know what happened, she was just standing there then she fell."  The mom was pretty embarrassed and quite surprised that this had happened and didn't know what to do, but she was handling it very well.  This older man could not leave this mom so he stood up holding the young girl and carried her to their car.
By the time the girl fell and carried her to the car and came back into the bank, the line had grown by about four more people behind us.  So he came in and stood at the end of the line.  But the guy in front of me, me and the girl behind me told him to go back up to his spot. he kindly declined.

The only teller available got stuck with another long transaction so the line was not moving.
Finally, another teller came to help with the line.  Then line was moving now.   Right before it was to be my turn the lady behind me offered to let the man go in front of us.  he said "I'm ok really thanks."  she responded with, "Being the good samaritan of the day you should go in front of us."  He smiled and kindly said, "Thank you so much for offering. but really I'm fine thanks.  after all this is my second time to the bank today, so I'm ok. But thank you for offering."  :)

So lesson learned:  be a good samaritan.  you never what will happen. don't lock your knees at the teller counter while at the bank with your mom.  haha jk.
I don't know and we all don't know why that happened.  The mom was in as much of shock as we were.  But the girl was definitely pale as they walked by.   I hope she is fine now.  but it was kind of scary, and kind of a crazy story...

Hope you all had a good day! :)
