Wow! I haven't been on here for a looong time. Life brings you so many things you just don't expect and pretty soon almost a year has gone by!! Mike and I are doing well :) We have been working like slaves to save money to head to Law School next Fall. He is half way done with his Internship in Idaho Falls and we are hoping it may turn into a job; we are still waiting to hear. Me, on the other hand, just being another slave and working hard at the Orthodontist Office both in Idaho Falls and Rexburg and trying to bring in the big bucks, haha :)
We don't really have anything new news except we are doing well and working hard. We love being married and love our cute little apartment, even though we are itching to be big kids and get a house.
We haven't done anything exciting lately. We just love coming home after a long hard day and eating dinner together and doing the normal every day tasks together.
Last Saturday we got invited to go to a real country barn yard hoe-down by some friends. It started snowing really bad and we almost didn't go but decided to still go, so we trucked through the snow for 30 min and made it to the barn and eat some good 'ol pot luck dinner and watched people dance. We realized we don't know how to dance like them, so we just watched and enjoyed the live band. But we felt weird just watching when every one else was coming and going off the dance floor, so we stepped one and instantly our feet started moving, but maybe not in the right direction. We kind of stepped on each others feet...every...step opps. We had a great attitude about it all and started laughing so hard at ourselves that our feet just got worse, so as soon as that song ended we slowly stepped off the dance floor. But ten minutes later we found ourselves back on the dance floor (because you can't drive all that way and only dance one song). We hesitantly stepped back on the dance floor and our 'smooth' moves started all over again, and the out bursts of laughter towards ourselves LOL :) There was one older couple who were the smoothest dancers and we kept watching them and their feet, but after that second dance they noticed us looking at them and talking about their feet, so they lady grabbed Mike and took him around the dance floor to 'help' his feet move correctly so a guy came over to me and took me around the dance floor one time so I wasn't sitting alone watching him dance. After that we decided it was time to jet home and escape before we really looked like fools and got our selves in trouble. haha :)
We laughed all the way home about the way we looked and how we felt about going, but we also came to the conclusion that we need to learn for next months hoe-down and maybe even take dance classes/lessons and most importantly we had fun!!
